Overall Response Rates

I thought that you might find this information helpful when you are planning your next marketing campaign. As always, if you know your target customer, you have a feel for what will get results. Here is what The DMA 2004 Response Rate Report found:
Telephone 5.45%
Mail 3.20%
E-mail 2.31%
Catalogs 2.23%
Radio 0.31%
Magazine 0.30%
Newspaper 0.15%
Direct Response TV 0.14%


We usually use a variety of commication media to reach our target customers so I wasn't surprised once again that direct mail and the telephone were the best ways to ellicit an active response from your target market.

We love creating marketing plans that generate results- and we really like direct mail.
